Dr. Jaime Davidson
Dr. Jaime Davidson is a distinguished Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, United States, and Honorary Professor at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. In addition, he is a Master's Professor in Diabetes at the Cayetano Heredia University in Lima, Peru, and an Advisor in the Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases section of the FDA in Dallas, United States.

Dr. Sophie Mestman Cannon
Dr. Sophie Mestman Cannon (she/her) is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the David Geffen UCLA School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, reproductive, adrenal disorders, and gender-affirming care.
Dr. Cannon received her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Antonio Bianco
Dr. Antonio Bianco is a physician-scientist and author in the field of thyroid research. He earned his medical degree from the Santa Casa School of Medicine and his PhD in Human Physiology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (ICB-USP) in Brazil. Dr. Bianco has published extensively on the metabolism and action of thyroid hormones, with important implications for the treatment of patients with hypothyroidism.

Dr. Carolina Solis-Herrera
Dr Carolina Solis-Herrera, is the Founding Director of the Center for Excellence in Diabetes and a physician-scientist and Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio). She also serves as Chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Medical Director of the Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinics, and Director of the Diabetes Clinic at the Medical Arts and Research Center (MARC).

Dr. Richard Auchus
Dr. Richard Auchus is a professor of Internal Medicine, Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology & Diabetes (MEND) and Chief of the Endocrinology & Metabolism Section at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center. He received his medical degree and Ph.D. in pharmacology from Washington University in St. Louis. Then Dr. Auchus completed a residency at the University of Iowa and an endocrinology fellowship at UTHSC-San Antonio/Wilford Hall Medical Center.

Dr. Jaydira Del Rivero
Dr. Del Rivero is a physician-scientist in the Division of Developmental Therapeutics, serving as the Principal Investigator for the Natural History Study of Neuroendocrine Tumors and Adrenocortical Cancer. Her work focuses on providing the foundational knowledge for developing therapeutic interventions, prevention and screening guidelines, and outcome measures for future clinical trials. She specializes in innovative treatment approaches and targeted therapies for endocrine malignancies, including advanced gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, adrenocortical cancer, and pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma.

Dr. Mark Jara
Dr. Mark Jara is a leading specialist in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, with a solid academic background and experience in various renowned institutions. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University at Buffalo and completed his Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism fellowship at the UM-JMH Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in 2018. He graduated from the National University School of Medical Sciences.

Dr. Andrew Blakely
Dr. Blakely is a Surgical Oncologist specializing in peritoneal surface malignancies and soft tissue sarcomas. His research focuses on characterizing differences in gastrointestinal stromal tumors and peritoneal mesothelioma both between and within patients, as well as evaluating the treatment effects of standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy strategies. He is also involved in the exploration and validation of fluorescent imaging to guide oncologic surgery.

Dr. Ingrid Libman
Dr. Ingrid Libman is a Professor in the Division of Endocrinology and Director of the Diabetes Program at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, with a secondary appointment in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. Her research focuses on the etiology, prediction, prevention, and management of diabetes in children, with a strong emphasis on population epidemiology and clinical research.

Dr. Francisco Pasquel
Dr. Francisco Pasquel is a prominent endocrinologist and epidemiologist specializing in diabetes and metabolism technologies. He serves as Co-Director of the NIH-funded regional center at the Georgia Center for Diabetes Translation Research (GCDTR) and is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Emory University. His research focuses on diabetes and cardiovascular disease, with current projects aimed at characterizing metabolic profiles in patients with stress-related heart conditions, leveraging technology for remote care, and addressing cardiovascular disease in high-risk populations.

Dr. Samuel Klein
Dr. Klein is the William H. Danforth Professor of Medicine, Director of the Center for Human Nutrition, Director of the Center for Applied Research Sciences, Chief of the Division of Geriatrics and Nutritional Sciences, and Medical Director of the Weight Management Program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Klein received an MD degree from Temple University Medical School and an MS Degree in Nutritional Biochemistry and Metabolism from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Maria Delgado-Lelievre
Dr. Delgado is Assistant Professor of Medicine, AHA Hypertension Specialist, Founding Director of the AHA-certified University of Miami Comprehensive Hypertension Center. Dr. Delgado is Board Certified Internal Medicine, former Hypertension Fellow and Faculty at the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine of the University of Michigan. Dr. Delgado was the recipient of the AHA Samuel A. Levine Young Clinical Investigator Award; The AHA Women in Cardiology Award; The American Society of Hypertension Recognition Award for Young Investigator.

Dr. Eduardo Sánchez
Dr. Eduardo Sánchez is the Chief Medical Officer for Prevention at the American Heart Association (AHA), where he leads key initiatives including the AHA’s COVID-19 response and the KnowDiabetesbyHeart™ program. Prior to joining the AHA, he served as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, and as Director of the Institute for Health Policy at the University of Texas.

Dr. Philipp Scherer
Philipp Scherer, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and Director of the Touchstone Diabetes Center. He holds the Gifford O. Touchstone, Jr. and Randolph G. Touchstone Distinguished Chair in Diabetes Research and the Touchstone/West Distinguished Chair in Diabetes Research. Originally from Switzerland, Dr. Scherer holds a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology and a doctorate in biochemistry from the Biocenter at the University of Basel.
